Just a Note About Consignments

The Golden Peacock does, from time to time, take items on consignment.  This is done on a case by case basis.  If you have an item you wish to consign, you will need to either bring the piece to the shop, or send pictures to the listed phone number.  If your item is something that we feel fits the overall theme of our business, we will contact you with the details concerning consignment.  

We currently charge 30% commission on the sales price of your item.  Your item(s) will be priced at a Fair Market Value, mutually agreed upon by The Golden Peacock and yourself.  This price must include the minimum amount you are willing to receive for your item.  Your item(s) will be under consignmnet for a period not to exceed 90 days.  After 90 days, you will need to retrieve your unsold item(s).

Remember, these are your things.  You always have the right to come get your item(s) at anytime, preferably with at least a 48 hour notice.  This will allow us the time necessary to clear and re-stage the area.

Upon the sale of your consignments, the money due to you will be paid on the 15th of the following month.

Lay Away Policy

We do offer, for your convenience,  Lay Away on certain select items.  Our policy is quite simple, we require 50% down payment, and the balance is due in 30 days.  Our policy is attached below.
